Putting companies and young people in touch
Emmaüs Connect is an association fighting against digital exclusion by making people most in need access digital opportunities.
The request was to bring professionals (local missions, associations, Second Chance School) and young people together within a single social platform, in order to help these young adults integrate the labor market.
Understanding the expectations of both young people and advisors
Our team accompanied the WeTechCare start-up to accomplish the mission.
It continuously involved young people, advisors and the client. During the whole project, we used a user centered approach, carrying out six user tests among other things.
32design workshops with advisors
Clic'N'JOB, a symbol of what we want to achieve for employment regarding the digital.
Our ground-based methodology
We had a three-week field observation period and interviewed young adults as well as local mission advisors. This phase helped us better understand daily-life expectations on both sides.
This way, we could appreciate the importance, for professionals, of pedagogic supervision and adapt the platform to this specific need.
The omni-channel strategy makes the platform available on all devices (desktops, smartphones, tablets)
Accompanying and teaching are the very core center of the service, including contents, vocabulary and visuals tailored to the target (quizzes, videos)
a learning tool for young adults
The platform includes tools and resources designed to facilitate and reinforce personal support for young people looking for a job :
– CV creation,
– video testimonials,
– job descriptions,
– personal advice,
– preparation for job interviews, etc.
Young people looking for a job now have the keys to to manage their professional integration.
