France’s first energy supplier eases costumers’ procedures thanks to its mobile service
Objectives
GDF-Suez objectives for its mobile service GDF SUEZ Dolce Vita are as following:
- Reach all costumers through a mobile website and apps available on main applications stores
- Give customers an innovative service
- Make it possible for customers to simply and quickly manage their online-account while traveling
- Give customers some advice for energy consumption
GDF SUEZ wishes to be accompanied by Backelite in defining its mobile strategy and learning more about specifications for the mobile market.
Our response
Mobile website www.gdfsuez-dolcevita.mobi, developed with cross-platform framework WOPE, is available on all phones, from basic devices to most recent ones such as iPhone, Blackberry and Android.
Hybrid apps, developed from mobile website webviews in order to reduce development cost and time, are available on following applications stores: AppStore, Android Market, Balckberry AppWorld and Samsung Apps.
Backelite also takes part in the definition of GDF SUEZ’s mobile services roadmap and carries out a monthly market watch (mobile and new screens overview document).
All applications and mobile website provide 3 key services:

- I Move House: moving help and express request for electricity and natural gas
- My Account: free and secured customer account for customers to manage their Online-account while traveling.
- My Boiler: public section providing some information and personalised advice to all customers for a better control of their energy consumption.
